Sydney singer/songwriter, Emad Younan, performs his unique brand of finger-picking, melancholic, melodic folk music. Drawing inspiration from his late brother, the brilliant Jesse Younan, Emad is a seasoned storyteller who has a way of invading even the coldest hard-hearted listener with his tender soul and beautiful melodies.
Following a performance on The Voice 2016, where Emad performed a Jesse Younan song, Emad has emerged from the studio with his debut EP, ‘Because Everything Changes.’ Working with multi-talented producer Sean Carey (ex-Thirsty Merc), the EP is a collection of emotive and melodic folk/pop songs chronicling his life experience, cut glass, and polite with a harder and darker melancholy bubbling underneath.
