Indonesian native Junio initially started with classical guitar lessons. Still, when this meant he was always getting the last chair in band class, he switched to Saxophone, and this resulted in the coveted ‘first chair.’
Having graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium (BMus Jazz Improvisation & Performance), Junio is a successful music educator, freelance, and session player that has shared the stage with great artists like Emma Pask, James Morrison & Indra Lesmana.
Junio creates his own backing tracks to accompany his freestyle sax melodies, creating a unique and uplifting sound that is always popular.
